Discover the old part of Las Palmas. We will take you
to Vegueta where you can see the narrow streets and beautiful
architecture constructed by the Spanish when they founded the
city. Visit the house where Columbus stayed and which exhibits a
record of his travels and information relating to American History
and Las Palmas. Adjacent to the museum is the cathedral of Santa
Anna. Then on to Triana, a shopping Area with a difference, with
art nouveau buildings and pavement cafe. Finally we take you
around the large port and harbour where you can see all types of
seagoing vessels from fishing boats to large cruise liners, cargo
ships to ferries and oil rigs to tall ships. This half day
excursion will end at about 5 pm. when you will be dropped back to
your hotel.
