The' Aloe' apartment block is a peaceful and comfortable complex situated on the southernmost point of the island of Gran Canaria (which is as far south as you can go whilst still remaining in European territory). 

It lies on the smart, modern main street of Playa del Ingles, the Avenida de Tirajana, which travels in a fairly straight line from the dormitory town of San Fernando nestling at the foot of the mountains in the north, to the promenades and beaches in the south.

It is lined on either side with shops, restaurants, hotels and apartments. 'Aloe' sits near its southern end and the famous Maspalomas sand dunes, an overwhelming sight, are just one block away. 

One of the town's largest shopping centres, the 'Cita', is directly opposite. This is the 'downtown' area of Maspalomas and is less than half an hour on the motorway from Las Palmas airport, allowing speedy access to most of the world's major cities. 

Practically every commercial airport in Germany and the United Kingdom offer direct, non-stop flights many times a day as do many other European countries. Traveling from outside Europe you may have to change just once, usually in Madrid.
